Grease: Almost Sold Out, Show Added Wednesday

With Friday and Saturday's musicals almost sold out, Nanuet students changed Wednesday, March 13's dress rehearsal to a third performance. It's open to the public. It's $12 for everyone and free for seniors

Got your tickets yet for Nanuet's production of the hit musical Grease? Tickets are hot and are almost gone for Friday and Saturday, March 15 and 16.

"Our two performances (on Friday and Saturday) are not sold out but close," said Bethany Gruskin, a Nanuet HS senior, who has been the ticket coordinator for the last three years. She is also playing Miss Lynch, the principal.

Because of the high demand, the school has decided to have a third performance on Wednesday March 13, which was originally an invited dress rehearsal for senior citizens.

Tickets will still be $12 and seniors will get in for free. Ticket proceeds benefit Nanuet Music Parents Association.

However, the Wednesday show starts at 7 p.m. instead. On Friday and Saturday, the curtain opens at 8 p.m. All performances will be at the high school.

Like originally planned, refreshments on Wednesday will be free for seniors.

"Refreshments will not be sold, but will be donation base for non-seniors," said Gruskin. "The cast bakes and brings water."
