Nanuet PTAs Host Staff Appreciation Week

Teachers and staff are the foundation of a child's education and their hard work is applauded each year during Staff Appreciation week. Each PTA does something different for the staff and faculty at their school. The Elementary PTA hosted a luncheon this past week, one for Highview Elementary on Tuesday and one for Miller Elementary on Friday.

Del Arte Italian Ristorante of Orangeburg catered the food, Carousel Cakes provided the brownies and PTA members kept the luncheon running smoothly. The teachers enjoyed wraps, shrimp cocktail, buns from the cold meal station and roasted vegetables, tilapia francese, penne vodka and chicken marsala from the hot meal station.

There were black and gold themed decorations and tableware. The teachers and staff got a chance to have a good meal over some great conversation in the teachers' lounge room.
