Boys Soccer: Clarkstown North defeats Nanuet 6-1

Rams rout Golden Knights in first victory of season

Neither team was having a good start to the season, both coming in with 0-2 records. But the Rams came out firing putting four goals past Nanuet keeper Ben Bohlke in just the first half. Bohlke had 16 saves in the match.

The Rams had midfielder Baggio Kcira sent off with a red card just before half time. Nanuet was unable to capitalize on the advantage, and mid way through the second half it was 6-0 to the Rams.

Nanuet captain Tommy Murtagh broke the shut out with five minutes to go in the match, assisted by Brendan Booth.  Brothers Anthony and Vinny Barbetto were both on the score sheet for the Rams, alongside team mate Alfredo Godinez, who scored a hat trick with an assist. Zach Deminno had three assists for the Rams.
