Daily Sports Digest: 10-11 All-Stars Look To Stay Alive Tonight

The Nanuet Little League 10-11 all-stars will look to remain in the District 18 tournament tonight when it faces Nyack-Valley Cottage at 8 p.m. in Pearl River.

It’s en elimination game tonight, as both teams lost their opening games of the tournament, with Nyack losing to Suffern and Nanuet falling 3-0 to Pearl River on Sunday. 

  • The Nanuet Majors Division all-stars were eliminated from the District 18 tournament over the weekend. After winning its first two games, Nanuet lost to Ramapo on Friday and to Haverstraw on Saturday.
  • The Juniors all-stars were also knocked out of the District 18 tournament over the weekend thanks to a 21-5 loss to Pearl River on Sunday. Nanuet lost 21-1 Thursday against Haverstraw in its first game of the tournament.
