Daily Sports Digest: 10-11 All-Star Team To Open Tournament This Weekend

The Nanuet Little League 10-11 all-star team will play its first District 18 tournament game this Sunday.

They play Sunday and will face off against the winner of Saturday’s Haverstraw-Pearl River game. Nanuet plays at 7 p.m. Sunday at Anderson Fields in Pearl River.

• The Nanuet Little League Majors Division all-stars will play its next game tonight against Ramapo. They play at 7 p.m. at Creston Field in South Orangetown. Nanuet advanced to tonight’s game by beating Pearl River and Congers.
• The Junior League all-star team dropped down into the loser’s bracket of the District 18 tournament after a 21-1 loss to Haverstraw Thursday night. Nanuet will look to stay alive in the tournament Sunday at 10 a.m. when it faces the winner of Saturday’s game between Pearl River and West Nyack.
