Daily Sports Digest: Clarkstown Stars Advance To Regionals

The Clarkstown Stars 8u team won the New York Metro tournament in Brooklyn over the weekend. The Stars went undefeated through the tournament.

With the win, the Stars advance to regionals in Wolcott, CT. If the Stars win that tournament, they’ll advance to nationals in McDonough, GA.

Nanuet All-Stars Stay Alive In District Tournament

The Nanuet Little League 10-11 all-star team won its first game of the loser’s bracket in the District 18 tournament Monday night to remain in the tournament.

Nanuet advanced with a 7-2 win against Nyack-Valley Cottage. Nanuet will play tonight against South Orangetown at 6 p.m. at Cesca Field in West Nyack.
