Albertus Magnus had a great day as both the Falcon volleyball and soccer teams found ways to win on the road. Nanuet didn’t have the same luck as the Golden Knights fell in field hockey and volleyball on the road.

Yesterday’s Results:

Sport: Field Hockey

Game: Nanuet @ Nyack

Score:  Nyack Won 3-1

Highlights: The Indians got 2 goals from Andie O’Sullivan and 1 from Taylor O’Sullivan in the victory. Lauren Plotkin had 4 saves for Nyack. The lone Nanuet goal was scored in the first half by Katie Fitzgerald.

Sport: Boy’s Soccer

Game: Albertus Magnus @ Nyack

Score:  Albertus Won 2-0

Highlights: Matt Dale and Robert Ottaviano put in a goal each for the Falcons in the 2-0 road win. Karl Jamiolkowski had 14 saves in the win, and Jon Rizner had 5 saves in the loss.

Sport: Volleyball

Game: Nanuet @ Pearl River

Score:  Pearl River Won 3-1

Highlights: Pearl River defended their home court thanks to 12 kills from Annette Krysiewicz and 13 assists from Victoria Grix. Caitlin Lenihan had 12 kills while Nia Diaz added ten for Nanuet in the loss.

Sport: Volleyball

Game: Albertus Magnus @ Dobbs Ferry

Score:  Albertus Won 3-0

Highlights: Albertus Magnus won with ease on the road thanks in large part to Mallary McFadden’s 12 kills and 7 assists, and Brian Gallagher and her 5 kills and 14 assists.

Today’s Schedule:

In field hockey, Nanuet heads to Somers at 5.

In girl’s soccer, Nyack will take on the Falcons at Albertus Magnus at 4:15.

In volleyball, Albertus Magnus will hit the road against Tappan Zee at 4.
