High School Students involved are from: Pawling, Iona Prep, Harvey, North Rockland, Freehold Boro, Ossining, Byram Hills, Brewster

Tune in to MSG Varsity tonight at 7 p.m. on Cablevision's iO TV, Channel 14 to catch the High School Sportsdesk. A number of student athletes from around the Hudson Valley are getting a chance to train at the New York Rangers training facility with their staff.

The students got the opportunity to participate in a professional pre-game/practice warm-up with CT Whale Strength and Conditioning Coach Mark Cesari. Then it was off to the ice for a practice with Rangers' center Erik Christensen. The night was capped off with a Q & A session where the kids got to pick the brains of Rangers' Assistant GM Jeff Gorton and Rangers' Head of Pro Scouting Kevin Maxwell.

MSG Varsity's Steve Gelbs visited the New York Rangers Training Facility in Tarrytown, NY, where the Blueshirts gave these local high school hockey players a experience they will never forget. Players from eight schools in the tri-state were present—Pawling, Iona Prep, Harvey, North Rockland, Freehold Boro, Ossining, Byram Hills, Brewster—for this once in a lifetime opportunity.

The show will re-air at 9 and 11 p.m. tonight.
