Friday: Nanuet Teen Summer Reading Club Starts

Participants get a BBQ Wrap Up Party at the end of the summer.

 

Got a teenager who likes to read? Or do you have one that you want to Stop by the this Friday, June 15 to sign up for the Nanuet Teen Summer Reading Club. 

The program is called "Own the Night" and the teens who participate in this program are rewarded with a BBQ Wrap Up Party at the end of the summer. There will also be prizes given out along the way and special events throughout the summer.

"If they're interested, they can stop by the library to pick up registration forms and we'll get them information (on how to participate)," said Suzanne Congdon, the Teen Services coordinator at Nanuet Library. The registration packet can be picked up at the Adult Reference Desk starting Friday and book reviews can be submitted in person or online .

This program is for Nanuet School District teens entering 7th grade and up to 12 grade. It runs from June 25 to August 10.
